The Yellow River Bridge in Mengzhou, central China's Henan Province saw its closure recently. The CCCC-undertaken Yellow River bridge and its link project, with a total length of 18.4 km, is a major project of the No. 207 National Highway. The structure is the first assembled steel-concrete composite bridge in China, with its main bridge reaching 3,007 meters long and a designated speed of 80 km/h. After completion, the project will facilitate the national transport channels, improve the regional transport hub as well as the economic development along the line.
