The winners of Engineering News-Record's (ENR) 2026 Global Best Projects Awards have been announced. The Cambodia NR10 (1551) Highway Reconstruction Project, undertaken by CRBC, received a Global Best Projects Award in the Road and Highway category.

Founded in 1874, ENR is a leading international publication covering the engineering and construction industry. Its Global Best Projects Awards recognize outstanding projects across engineering disciplines worldwide. In addition to safety, innovation, construction quality, project management, design and aesthetics, the awards place particular emphasis on projects' contributions to the development of their host countries and local communities, as well as environmental protection.

The NR10 is a major transport infrastructure project spanning three provinces in western Cambodia, with a total length of 197.363 kilometers. The project's 80-meter-high Bridge No. 28 is the tallest bridge in Cambodia. The NR10 recently opened to traffic, cutting the distance between Koh Kong and Battambang provinces from more than 560 kilometers to 280 kilometers. It is expected to significantly improve the transport of agricultural products from Battambang, Cambodia's "rice bowl," and facilitate their export. It will also help strengthen the road network in western Cambodia and drive the development of tourism, industry and other sectors along the route.
