Recently, Song Hailiang, chairman of CCCC, visited Paris, France, for a series of business activities. He met with Christine Cabau Woehrel, executive vice president of CMA CGM Group, Pierre-Eric Saint-Andre, CEO of Bouygues Construction, and Biodun Dabiri, board chairman of Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise Limited. The discussions focused on deepening practical cooperation in infrastructure development, digital and intelligent services, green and low-carbon development, and sustainability, as well as expanding collaboration in third-party markets. Yang Yisheng, vice president of CCCC, attended the meetings.

Song said that CCCC's cooperation with CMA CGM Group on projects such as Nigeria's Lekki Port and the Kribi Deep Seaport in Cameroon has become a model of cooperation in infrastructure development, port operations, and regional logistics. Going forward, CCCC looks forward to working with CMA CGM Group to explore new cooperation models in areas including smart and green ports, port-related infrastructure, and green shipping, contributing to the sustainable growth of the global shipping industry.
Lekki Port is Nigeria's first modern deep-water port and one of the largest of its kind in West Africa. Since commencing operations, the port has significantly boosted Nigeria's port capacity and logistics efficiency, while driving the development of Lekki and supporting local economic and social progress.
Song said that CCCC is exploring a five-in-one integrated development model combining people, transport infrastructure, industrial parks, logistics parks, and future cities, with successful examples already achieved. Leveraging the strengths of Lekki Port, CCCC hopes to further participate in the development of Lekki and more infrastructure projects across Nigeria, supporting the country's industrialization and diversified economic development.
Currently, the global construction industry is accelerating shift toward green, digital, and industrialized development. Song said that CCCC and Bouygues Construction, as leading global integrated infrastructure service providers, can deepen practical cooperation in areas such as green buildings, smart construction, urban renewal, and digital infrastructure. Together, the two companies can explore new models for cooperation in Europe and other third-party markets, achieving higher-level mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
