The 2026 World Youth Development Forum was recently held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Mamady Mariama Condé, a local employee of China Harbour Engineering Company's Simandou iron ore project in Guinea, was invited to attend as the only international representative from CCCC.
With the theme "Youth Drive Development for a Better World," the forum brought together around 200 young representatives from more than 20 countries to discuss topics such as youth empowerment and sustainable development.

Mamady Mariama Condé speaks at a discussion session of the 2026 World Youth Development Forum.
Condé shared the Simandou iron ore project's achievements in ecological protection, green construction, and sci-tech innovation, as well as China Harbour Engineering Company's efforts to engage local youth in project construction.
He said the company follows the philosophy of "teaching a man to fish" by helping local employees build their skills and advance into technical and management positions through initiatives such as innovation workshops and skills competitions. His remarks received positive attention and recognition from guests and young representatives from around the world.

The forum provided a valuable platform for CCCC to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with international organizations, young innovators, and industry partners. Going forward, the company will continue working with young people to contribute to local development.
