Recently, young employees of CCCC in Tanzania visited the National Museum of Tanzania for a cultural journey through time.

Before entering the exhibition hall, a 130-year-old Ficus religiosa in the museum courtyard immediately drew everyone's attention. Looking up at its canopy, a young Chinese engineer said, "A tree grows like this because its roots run deep. The same applies to our projects. We must take root locally and integrate with the community if we want to go further."

Through a series of exhibits, the young engineers learned about the development of East African civilization and the transformation of Dar es Salaam from a coastal fishing village into a modern city.

More than 600 years ago, Chinese fleets reached the East African coast along the Maritime Silk Road. Today, Chinese builders once again cross the oceans to construct roads, bridges, ports, airports, dams, and sewage systems, delivering tangible benefits to local communities. From the Tanzania-Zambia Railway to infrastructure projects, these works stand as vivid examples of China-Tanzania cooperation.

One young engineer said, "Every road and bridge we build is part of the story of China-Tanzania friendship."

As they left the exhibitionhall, a group of local schoolchildren happened to be arriving for a visit. The children warmly greeted them with a cheerful "Nihao," despite their limited Chinese. The young engineers chatted with the children and posed for photos, bringing the cultural exchange activity to a successful close.
