CCCC participates in World Transport Convention 2026 in Tianjin

Centered on the theme of "AI + Transport", the convention brought together transportation researchers, industry leaders, experts and scholars from 21 countries and regions to discuss cutting-edge technologies, emerging trends, and cooperation opportunities in the era of AI.
Zhang noted that CCCC, a global leader in infrastructure and urban development, holds world-leading capabilities in key areas including long-span bridges and tunnels, highway construction and maintenance in permafrost regions, immersed tube tunnels, ultra-large-diameter shield tunneling, and unmanned smart ports.

Looking ahead, he called for sustained efforts in sci-tech innovation, green and low-carbon transformation, digital and intelligent development, and cross-sector integration.
During the convention, Zhang held talks with Francisco Esteban Lefler, president of PIANC, the World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure, and Secretary-General Geert Van Cappellen.
CCCC is one of PIANC's 16 global platinum members and the only Chinese company in this group, contributing Chinese expertise and solutions to challenges facing the global waterborne transport industry.
PIANC expressed its expectation of drawing more extensively on CCCC's flagship projects and practical experience worldwide in advancing research on green and low-carbon development, digital intelligence, and infrastructure resilience. It also looks forward to working with CCCC to improve international industry standards and accelerate the application of technological innovations by leveraging the extensive practical experience of CCCC and China's waterway construction sector, jointly promoting green, sustainable, and high-quality development of the global waterborne transport industry.
CCCC hosted an exhibition pavilion and organized a series of technical forums, showcasing representative projects and innovative achievements in areas such as intelligent construction and green development, which attracted widespread attention from industry professionals attending the event.
