CWE hosted a Water Splashing Festival in Laos, celebrating the Lao New Year with 60 community members, employees, and families. Tying blessing strings and splashing water, all shared joy.

Recently, over 60 community representatives, Chinese and Lao employees, and their families gathered in Vientiane, Laos, to take part in the "China-Laos Friendship Year-Water Splashing Festival Celebration" hosted by CWE, a subsidiary of CCCC. Together, they welcomed the Lao New Year in a joyful and harmonious atmosphere, renewing their bonds of friendship.
Following local customs, the event began with a solemn string-tying ceremony, led by a respected elder from the community. The elder tied white cotton strings around the employees' wrists as a blessing for good fortune and peace. Colleagues then tied strings for one another, exchanging well-wishes and "tying" happiness close.
During the water splashing that followed, sparkling droplets filled the air amid waves of laughter and joy. Everyone expressed their friendship through water and sent blessings with every splash. Khamla, a local employee, said with deep emotion: "In my 19 years with the company, I have been able to take part in such Water Splashing Festival celebrations every year, and I have always felt the company's care and warmth."
