CCCC continues to play a key role in advancing Cambodia's infrastructure and economic development. Recently, Song Hailiang, Chairman of CCCC and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Section II of the Funan Techo Integrated Water Resources Management project in Takeo Province, Cambodia.
Designed to connect Cambodia's river systems with the sea, the project spans approximately 151.6 km and is being built to Class I inland waterway standards (3,000-ton capacity). Once completed, it will link major rivers including the Bassac, Mekong, and Tonlé Sap, forming an integrated river-sea logistics network centered on Sihanoukville Port and significantly enhancing the country's waterborne transport capacity.

With over 25 years of engagement in Cambodia, CCCC has delivered 33 major infrastructure projects, including the country's first expressway, first ridge-crossing viaduct, largest power station, and largest stadium—bringing tangible benefits to local communities and supporting long-term national development.
Phnom Penh–Sihanoukville Expressway
This key expressway stretches 187.05 km, linking Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, with its largest seaport city, Sihanoukville. It has reduced travel time between the two cities from more than five hours to under two hours. As of April 1, 2026, the expressway had handled over 18.6 million vehicle trips. By connecting major economic hubs across the country, it has provided strong momentum for regional economic growth.
National Road 55 and National Road 10 have formed a vital “agricultural corridor” in western Cambodia, enabling products such as rice, rubber, and cashews to reach Cambodian and international markets more efficiently. National Road 55, opened in 2020 and running 182 km, traverses mountainous regions and is widely regarded as one of Cambodia's most scenic highways. National Road 10, spanning 197 km, connects Battambang, Pursat, and Koh Kong provinces, reducing travel distance between Battambang and Koh Kong from over 560 km to 280 km. Its Bridge No. 28, measuring 530 meters in length and 80 meters in height, is Cambodia's first ridge-crossing bridge and tallest bridge.

CCCC has also upgraded key corridors including National Roads 3, 31, 33, and the Skun–Kampong Cham section of National Road 7, cutting travel time from Phnom Penh to Kampot from four hours to two and improving connectivity across southwestern coastal and northeastern regions.

Kratie Port
Construction of the project began in March 2026. As a key node in Cambodia’s modern inland waterway network, it is designed with an annual throughput capacity of approximately 750,000 tonnes. Once completed, it will further strengthen the industrial logistics system in Kratie Province and the Phnom Penh area, significantly improving multimodal transport efficiency for cement raw materials and finished products while reducing overall logistics costs.
Mekong River bridge
Construction of the project, located southeast of Phnom Penh, began in November 2024. With a total length of approximately 3.7 kilometers, the bridge is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2028. Once put into operation, the project will replace the local reliance on ferry services and significantly improve efficiency, reducing cross-river travel time to approximately 5 minutes.
Poipet Wastewater Treatment Plant
The project features a comprehensive sewage collection network, three pumping stations, and a wastewater treatment plant with a daily capacity of 9,576 cubic meters, alongside a stormwater drainage system integrated with existing infrastructure. Once completed, the project will significantly mitigate long-standing challenges such as direct discharge of domestic sewage and seasonal flooding. The initiative is expected to substantially enhance water quality and public health while supporting the overall improvement of the living environment.
Leisure pier project in Ream National Park
The project, located in Ream National Park in Preah Sihanouk Province, began in May 2022. The project involves the construction of one approach bridge, one yacht marina, and one helipad. The initiative will significantly facilitate the development of the local tourism industry.
Infrastructure projects in Cambodia have delivered substantial development dividends while significantly boosting local employment and empowering the workforce. To date, project construction has cumulatively generated direct employment for over 30,000 person-times. In 2025, the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway project organized nearly 400 vocational training sessions, benefiting over 6,700 individuals and achieving a local employment rate of over 95%.
Looking ahead, CCCC will continue to leverage its complete industry chain to deeply participate in Cambodia's transportation infrastructure, urban renewal, sustainable development, and intelligent systems. These efforts will further support local development and ensure that project dividends benefit local communities.
