Ahead of International Women's Day 2026, Afristar hosted a painting event to celebrate the strength and creativity of women. More than 30 female employees and their family members gathered for the occasion, connecting through art and celebrating the upcoming holiday.
Guided by artist Owen—who helped paint the Mombasa-Nairobi SGR cultural mural—participants turned their ideas into vibrant artworks. Female staff then posed with their paintings, creating a highlight of the celebration.
Participants exchanged ideas, shared techniques, and celebrated diverse cultures—bonding through laughter and conversation.
