Tanzanian Prime Minister visits Kilwa Fishing Harbor in the Lindi Region

The Kilwa Fishing Harbor is Tanzania's first large-scale modern fishing harbor.
Recently, Tanzanian Prime Minister Mwigulu Nchemba visited the Kilwa Fishing Harbor, built by CHEC.
After a site briefing, he praised the progress, calling the harbor a key project for Tanzania's blue economy and fisheries modernization. He emphasized its role in boosting regional employment, export capacity, and livelihoods.
The Kilwa Fishing Harbor is Tanzania's first large-scale modern fishing harbor. Spanning 5.6 hectares, it will handle 60,000 tonnes of fish annually and accommodate large ocean-going fishing vessels.
