The opening of the bridge further improves the regional road network and injects strong momentum into the coordinated and integrated development of key areas in Nanjing.

The Nanjing Xingshengwei Yangtze River Bridge, has officially opened. As Nanjing's eighth bridge spanning the Yangtze River, it cuts river-crossing time from nearly an hour to just 10 minutes.
Located approximately 6.2 kilometers upstream of the Nanjing Bagua Zhou Yangtze River Bridge and 4.3 kilometers downstream of the Nanjing Qixiashan Yangtze River Bridge, the bridge is a crucial traffic link between Nanjing's main urban area and the Jiangbei New Area. The bridge spans approximately 13.17 kilometers and is a six-lane urban expressway with a design speed of 80 km/h. The main bridge is a single-span suspension bridge with a span of 1,760 meters and a main tower height of 263.8 meters.
Since its construction began in March 2020, the CCCC team has employed technological innovations to overcome numerous construction challenges, while enhancing safety and efficiency. The team completed the installation and welding of 97 steel box girders in just three months, successfully completing the bridge's main span connection.
The opening of the bridge further improves the regional road network, significantly reduces logistics costs, and injects strong momentum into the coordinated and integrated development of key areas in Nanjing.
