Colombo Port City and ECRL win prestigious international awards

As of now, Colombo Port City has attracted over 200 companies, more than half of which are in the information technology sector
Recently, Colombo Port City was honored with the Visionary Award for Next-Generation Financial Hub Development at the Asian Digital Finance Forum and Awards 2025. The forum was co-hosted by the Asian FinTech Academy (AFTA) in collaboration with the Fintech Association of Sri Lanka (FASL). Colombo Port City fully demonstrates the vitality and diversity of the digital finance sector in Asia.
As of now, Colombo Port City has attracted over 200 companies, more than half of which are in the information technology sector, laying a strong foundation for its goal of becoming a key financial and industrial hub in South Asia.
Meanwhile, at the International Construction Transformation Conference (ICTC) 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, the ECRL Section 9 won three construction excellence awards from the Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), making it the highlight of the event.
The CIDB, Malaysia's highest regulatory authority in the construction industry, awards these prestigious prizes to projects with exceptional industry recognition. The winning works included the Tunnel 2A, T-Beam precast yard, and Bridge No. 30, providing a significant acknowledgment of the project's construction management achievements.
