Four CCCC Projects honored on the list of 2025 ENR Global Best Projects Awards

Founded in 1874, ENR is one of the world's most authoritative publications in the field of engineering and construction.
In addition to the Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link project in Hong Kong and the upgrade of the Pindura–Bweyeye road project (32 km) in Rwanda, four other projects undertaken by CCCC have been honored on the list. The Design and Build Macau Refuse Incineration Plant – Phase 3 in Macao won the Best Projects in the Power/Industrial category. The Marine Work PKG of Vung Ang II Thermal Power Project in Ky Anh, Vietnam, won the Best Projects in the Airport/Port category. The Khalifa Port CT-3 Container Yard Project in Abu Dhabi, UAE, won the Award of Merit in the Airport/Port category, and the 275kV Transmission Line Development From PMU New Prai To PMU The Light in Penang, Malaysia won the Award of Merit in the Power/Industrial category.
Design and Build Macau Refuse Incineration Plant – Phase 3 in Macao
The project is a key public environmental initiative in Macau, with a daily waste treatment capacity of up to 1,300 tons. It effectively addresses the city's waste disposal challenges and contributes to Macau's green and low-carbon development.
Marine Work PKG of Vung Ang II Thermal Power Project in Ky Anh, Vietnam
As a major supporting facility for the Vung Ang II Thermal Power Plant, the project was completed in May 2025. It will generate around 8 billion kWh of electricity annually, easing Vietnam's power shortage and playing an important role in local economic and social development.
Khalifa Port CT-3 Container Yard Project in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Covering an area of about 690,000 square meters, the project was commissioned in December 2024. It further consolidates Khalifa Port's position as a leading global logistics hub and promotes regional economic development.
275kV Transmission Line Development From PMU New Prai To PMU The Light in Penang, Malaysia
Spanning the Penang Strait with a total length of about 8.5 kilometers, the project includes 31 towers (26 offshore and 5 onshore). Once operational, it will significantly enhance regional power transmission capacity, providing stable, safe, and reliable energy for Penang's industries, businesses, and residents.
