The Robe–Goro–Sof Omer–Ginir Junction Road Upgrading Project, stretching 120 kilometers, will further improve the regional road network and promote Ethiopia' s tourism and socioeconomic development.
The new tourism development project in the Bale Mountains National Park and the Sof Omar Resort Project aim to advance Ethiopia's tourism industry and local economy. More than major infrastructure works, these initiatives represent a vivid practice of harmonizing development with ecological preservation.
