Once completed, the port will serve as a critical piece of infrastructure to support Angola’s diversified exports.
Angolan President Joao Lourenco recently visited the New Port of Caio, which is being built by CRBC.
During his visit, Lourenco reviewed the construction progress of the terminal and examined its design and engineering methods. He praised the project team for the significant progress achieved so far.
Located in Angola's Cabinda Province, the project involves the construction of an offshore terminal for both containers and general cargo, along with supporting onshore facilities and port equipment procurement. Once completed, the port will serve as a critical piece of infrastructure to support Angola's diversified exports, strengthen trade links between Cabinda, mainland Angola and Pointe-Noire in the Republic of Congo, while creating jobs and driving local growth.
