Once completed, the project will significantly enhance the logistics efficiency and cargo throughput of the port.

Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony for the rehabilitation project of the commercial quay at the independent port of Nouadhibou, undertaken by CRBC, was held. Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, along with the Minister of Fisheries, Maritime and Port Infrastructure, and the head of the Nouadhibou region, attended the ceremony.
Located in Nouadhibou, Mauritania's second-largest city and its "economic capital", the project includes the restoration and renovation of the commercial quay and jetty, as well as maintenance dredging in the dock area. The goal is to improve the port's operational capacity and service levels through facility upgrades and channel dredging.
Once completed, the project will significantly enhance the logistics efficiency and cargo throughput of the port, drive employment and economic growth, and inject new vitality into Mauritania's foreign trade and surrounding industrial development.
