Once fully operational, the facility will accommodate around 2,000 office workers.
The first temporary office facility of Sri Lanka's Port City Colombo—the business center—was recently inaugurated. Chen Zhong, Deputy General Manager of CCCC, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

In his remarks, Chen Zhong highlighted the milestone significance of the business center, noting that it would further enhance the industrial ecosystem of the port city, boost investor and market confidence, and contribute to the development of an international financial hub and modern industrial park in the region.
The business center is expected to meet the office needs of registered enterprises. To date, over 180 companies have registered in the port city, with around 20 already moved into the business center. Once fully operational, the facility will accommodate around 2,000 office workers.
