Once completed, the bridge will significantly boost economic development across the region.

Chinese humanoid robots recently walked gracefully across Yangtze River on the world's longest catwalk, the Yanji Yangtze River Bridge—holder of seven world records. Witness the stunning fusion of China’s cutting-edge technology and world-class engineering!
Spanning approximately 26 kilometers, the Yanji Yangtze River Bridge features a main span of 1,860 meters. The upper level is a highway designed for speeds of 100 km/h, while the lower level is an urban expressway with a design speed of 80 km/h.
With a single span across the Yangtze River, the bridge is the world’s largest-span suspension bridge with four main cables. The total length of steel wires in all four cables reaches approximately 330,000 kilometers, with a combined weight of around 65,000 tons—making them the longest and heaviest main cables in the world. Together, the cables exert a total tensile force of 280,000 tons, the highest ever for any suspension bridge globally.
Once completed, the bridge will play a pivotal role in advancing a fully integrated regional transport network—spanning road, rail, river, and air—and will significantly boost economic development across the region.
