The Sino-Mauritanian Friendship Overpass, constructed by CRBC, was officially inaugurated in Nouakchott, with Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani attended the ceremony and cut the ribbon for the project.

The project transformed the former intersection into a modern overpass, upgrading the north-south section of the N2 road, the east-west section of the N3 road, and an avenue. Spanning 274.08 meters, the overpass features a dual four-lane design with a speed limit of 60 km/h. Its opening is expected to significantly ease traffic pressure in the capital, improve travel efficiency, and enhance mobility for local residents—offering strong support for Mauritania’s economic and social development.

The inauguration ceremony was broadcast live by leading Mauritanian media outlets, including the Mauritanian Information Agency and Senalioune TV.
