The overall progress of the RTS Link has surpassed 50%, with track laying set to be completed by July.

Recently, the Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS Link) held a media day event, with over 10 mainstream media outlets from Malaysia and Singapore, including Lianhe Zaobao, Sin Chew Daily, The Malay Mail, and Channel News Asia (CNA), attending.
The overall progress of the RTS Link has surpassed 50%, with track laying set to be completed by July.
The media group visited the site to observe the installation of the ballastless track and switches, as well as the aluminothermic welding construction process.
The RTS Link spans the Johor Strait, with 3.6 kilometers in Malaysia and 1.8 kilometers in Singapore. Once completed, the one-way commute between the two countries will be reduced to just 5 minutes, greatly facilitating travel and trade between the two nations and playing a significant role in promoting socio-economic development.
