Recently, Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, met with Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, the chairman of the board of directors of MRL, and Nurlan Sauranbayev, the chair of the board of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, in Beijing.
Meeting with Malaysia Rail Link Delegation
During the meeting with MRL representatives, both parties discussed the implementation of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project and explored opportunities for deepening cooperation.
Wang Tongzhou emphasized CCCC's commitment to working closely with MRL's management team to advance the project, aiming to transform the ECRL into a high-quality public service infrastructure that contributes to Malaysia's economic and social development.
Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar commended the project's progress, particularly in engineering, local collaboration, and green development, and praised CCCC's active corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Meeting with Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Delegation
In discussions with KTZ representatives, Wang Tongzhou expressed CCCC's readiness to leverage its position as a global leader in large-scale infrastructure services. He highlighted CCCC's focus on aligning with Kazakhstan's needs and priorities, particularly in developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, and proposed deepening cooperation with KTZ.
Nurlan Sauranbayev expressed high regard for CCCC's global business expansion and its achievements in Kazakhstan. He indicated a strong interest in further strengthening practical cooperation with CCCC in sectors such as railways and ports.
