CCCC showcases innovations at 2024 China Marine Economy Expo

These dialogues aimed to contribute ideas for advancing the global marine economy and developing a sustainable blue economy.

The 2024 China Marine Economy Expo, "Open Cooperation, Win-win Sharing,"  was opened recently in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Chen Zhong, Deputy General Manager of CCCC attended the event.
The CCCC booth featured an immersive multimedia presentation that included visuals, models, and VR technology to showcase the company's marine construction expertise. Highlights included key domestic projects like the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, the Pinglu Canal, and Tianjin Port, as well as international landmarks such as the China-Maldives Friendship Bridge, Croatia's Pelješac Bridge, and Colombo Port City in Sri Lanka. Major equipment on display included the "Tian Kun Hao" self-propelled cutter suction dredger, the "Yi Hang Jin An 1" vessel integrating the floating transfer and installation of the immersed tubes, and the "Zhen Hua 30" fully azimuth marine floating crane.
With 95,000 square meters of exhibition space, the Expo hosted over 400 leading marine-focused companies and institutions from around the world. A series of academic meetings and professional forums here allowed experts and industry representatives to discuss deep-sea technology, marine shipping, eco-friendly marine practices, and cooperative governance. These dialogues aimed to contribute ideas for advancing the global marine economy and developing a sustainable blue economy.
