The Zero-Carbon Mission International Climate Summit 2024 recently opened in Beijing, bringing together global leaders to discuss effective actions for low-carbon transitions and climate change mitigation. Pei Minshan, Deputy General Manager of CCCC attended the summit and delivered a keynote address.

The summit, a prelude to the upcoming COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, also awarded CCCC and four other companies as the "Annual Sustainable Development International Pioneer." Additionally, the Nam Lik 1-2 Hydropower Station in Laos, built by CWE, was recognized as the "International Green Energy Pioneer Projects."
The "International Green Energy Pioneer Projects" award honors sustainable infrastructure projects that achieve significant results in green energy transition. The Nam Lik 1-2 Hydropower Station has made outstanding contributions by providing clean energy, protecting the local ecosystem, developing local talent, and improving community livelihoods.
