At the recent 2024 Belt and Road Trade and Investment Forum held in Beijing, key leaders from CCCC participated in discussions centered on topics such as supply chain stability, connectivity, smart manufacturing, and low-carbon development, exploring new models for sustainable growth. Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony.
Wang Tongzhou highlighted the company's active role in advancing the Belt and Road Initiative. He noted the successful implementation of landmark projects, including Kenya's Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway, the China-Maldives Friendship Bridge in the Maldives, the commercial port of Jazan Economic City in Saudi Arabia, the Colombo Port City in Sri Lanka, and the Moinak Hydro Power Plant in Kazakhstan, all of which have significantly contributed to the economic development and social prosperity of host nations. CCCC will continue to work with all parties to make new and greater contributions to building a world of common prosperity, cleanliness, and beauty.
During a panel discussion, Chen Zhong, Deputy General Manager of CCCC, shared insights on collaboration with Belt and Road partner countries, engaging in dialogue on future development models.
