CCCC leaders attend the 2024 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation

As the largest international contractor in the African market, CCCC has invested in and constructed over 1,600 infrastructure projects across the continent.

On September 5, the opening ceremony of the 2024 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation was held in Beijing, with Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, and Chen Zhong, Deputy General Manager of CCCC in attendance.
On the evening of September 5, Wang Tongzhou attended the 2024 China-Madagascar Roundtable on Economic Development, where he delivered a speech. 
In his remarks, Wang Tongzhou highlighted that CRBC, a subsidiary of CCCC, has been active in Madagascar for over 40 years, focusing on infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, ports, and municipal works. Over the years, CCCC has undertaken 220 projects, contributing significantly to the economic and social development of Madagascar and improving the quality of life for its people.
On the morning of September 6, Wang Tongzhou attended the opening ceremony of the 8th Conference of Chinese and African Entrepreneurs.
Since the 1970s, when CCCC built the Friendship Port in Mauritania, the company has been engaged with Africa for nearly 50 years. As the largest international contractor in the African market, CCCC has invested in and constructed over 1,600 infrastructure projects across the continent. These include more than 7,000 kilometers of roads, over 100 bridges, 80 major ports, and over 30 water and hydroelectric projects. Landmark projects such as Kenya's Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway and  Nariobi-Malaba Railway, Nigeria's Lekki Port, Ethiopia's Addis Ababa-Adama Highway, Mozambique's Maputo–Katembe Bridge, Guinea's Souapiti Hydroelectric Project, and Sudan's Merowe Dam have become iconic structures in host countries and regions.
