Recently, the launching ceremony for the Addis Tomorrow Special Economic Zone, designed and constructed by CCCC, was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital. The event was attended by over 100 guests, including Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abebe. Chen Zhong, Deputy General Manager of CCCC, also attended and addressed the event.
Located in the Gotera area of Addis Ababa, the project covers an area of 35 hectares. The development will include a large commercial center, a multifunctional complex, and healthcare and educational facilities. Once completed, it will serve as a city-integrated complex and economic zone that combines functions of international trade, residential and office spaces, leisure shopping, and cultural and educational centers.

In his speech, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed highlighted that the successful commencement of this project marks the official start of the Addis Tomorrow Special Economic Zone, which will help realize the city's vision for the future.
Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abebe emphasized that the project will become a landmark for the capital, providing a new source of urban vitality while serving as an international trade hub and creating extensive employment opportunities for residents.
Chen Zhong stated that CCCC is committed to making the project an international economic zone, offering CCCC's wisdom and solutions to support Ethiopia's economic development.
