Recently, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic visited the construction site of the tunnel Iriški venac of the Novi Sad-Ruma Expressway Project built by CCCC, for the second time this year.
President Aleksandar Vucic expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the project, saying that he is glad to see the incredible speed of progress since his last visit earlier this year. He thanked the construction team for their hard work and praised the CCCC's outstanding technical expertise and efforts in environmental protection.
The Novi Sad-Ruma Expressway spans a total length of 45.18 kilometers. The tunnel Iriški venac, located within the Fruska Gora National Park, is approximately 3.5 kilometers long and is designed for a speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour. Upon completion, it will be the longest tunnel in Serbia, reducing the travel time through the national park from 30 minutes to just 5 minutes.
