Recently, a ceremony was held in the city of Sighnaghi to mark the opening of the Bakurtsikhe–Tsnori (BT) road, constructed by CRBC, a subsidiary of CCCC. The event was attended by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Deputy Prime Minister Irakli Chikovani.
Irakli Kobakhidze noted that the new road will significantly enhance Georgia's transportation capacity and greatly boost the local economy and tourism industry.
The BT road, located in eastern Georgia, spans 16.7 kilometers and serves as a vital transportation link between the capital city of Tbilisi and the Kakheti Region. It also connects to Georgia's S5 route. This road is expected to significantly boost agricultural and tourism development in the Kakheti Region, while also accelerating trade and economic exchanges between Europe and Asia.
