CCCC participates in the World Transportation Convention 2024

Since its inception in 2017, the WTC has become a significant platform for international academic exchange and brand display in the transportation sector.

On June 26, the World Transportation Convention 2024 (WTC) commenced in Qingdao, Shandong Province. Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, attended the opening ceremony upon invitation.
Under the theme of “New Transportation in Change”, the WTC2024 focused on key technological issues for sustainable development in global transportation and showcased the latest technological achievements and development models in the field. Since its inception in 2017, the WTC has become a significant platform for international academic exchange and brand display in the transportation sector.
CCCC participated in various segments of the WTC, showcasing the company's achievements and innovative results in the transportation field through multiple channels. In the parallel forums  area, eight forums were held focusing on topics such as bridge development, intelligent highways, and tunnel construction. In the transport technology expo area, CCCC featured nearly a thousand square meters of exhibition space highlighting key technologies and achievements in cross-sea link construction, high-altitude frozen soil road construction, intelligent construction technology and equipment, and digital innovation and development. In the technological achievement release area, CCCC released four technological achievements, including the CCCC BlueJourney BIM Platform. Additionally, the 2024 World University Students' Bridge Design Competition was held as part of the special events section.
Before the opening ceremony, Wang Tongzhou accompanied the guests to visit CCCC's technology exhibition area.
CCCC BlueJourney BIM Platform
CCCC is dedicated to the research and development of critical BIM technologies and products, and is exploring the establishment of a digital management system for the entire lifecycle of transportation infrastructure projects based on BIM technology. As China's first transportation-focused BIM platform, CCCC BlueJourney BIM Platform offers over 50 products across multiple industries, including highways, waterways, airports, and municipal projects. These products cover various stages such as planning, design, construction, and operation and maintenance, and have played a crucial role in national major construction projects.
