Recently, CCCC released its 2023 ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) report. The report comprehensively discloses CCCC's commitments and actions in economic, social, and environmental responsibilities for the year 2023, reflecting the company's vision of "making the world more smooth, making the city more livable, and making the life more colorful."
The report addresses two key topics: "Belt and Road Cooperation" and "Addressing Climate Change." It elaborates on CCCC's proactive efforts in the new development stage, implementing new development concepts, and creating a new development pattern through high-quality growth.
Over the past decade since the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was proposed, CCCC, as a leading global infrastructure service provider, has built bridges, roads, harbors, and power stations worldwide. These tangible and substantial achievements contribute positively to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
CCCC is committed to green and low-carbon transformation as a crucial support for building a world-class enterprise in terms of technology, management and quality. The company integrates climate risk management into its strategic planning and operational practices, formulating a series of green and low-carbon development plans to contribute to the peaking carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and striving to achieve carbon neutralization by 2060. In 2023, CCCC won 31 Chinese energy conservation and environmental protection awards and facilitated the company's first I-REC trade.
