Recently, Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, was invited to attend the 15th BRICS Business Forum held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Representing Chinese enterprises, he engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as African infrastructure development, regional connectivity, and sustainable economic development with other guests.
In his speech, Wang Tongzhou emphasized that Africa is the largest infrastructure development market for CCCC. The company actively leverages its advantages across the entire industry chain and deeply participates in comprehensive transportation infrastructure, industrial park investment, urban development, and other infrastructure projects in African countries. CCCC has constructed a large number of major millennial projects in Africa, including the Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway in Kenya, the Maputo–Katembe bridge in Mozambique, and Lekki Deepwater Port in Nigeria. These projects have made significant contributions to the local economic and social development.
Wang Tongzhou said that the Mtentu Bridge currently under construction by CCCC in South Africa will become another shining business card of CCCC in Africa. Once completed, it will effectively drive local economic and tourism development.
CCCC hopes to utilize this forum and the BRICS partnership of South Africa to improve the well-being of people at a higher level, promote low-carbon and green infrastructure coverage in more countries and regions, and support sustainable economic development in Africa.
