CCCC at the 3rd China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo

On June 29, the 3rd China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was held in Changsha, Hunan. Over 1,000 representatives from 68 countries and regions attended the event. Chen Zhong, Deputy General Manager of CCCC, attended the opening ceremony and the forums upon invitation.
After the opening ceremony, some guests visited CCCC's exhibition booth, where Chen Zhong introduced the company's key businesses in roads, ports, bridges, urban development, and equipment, as well as its Build Your Future program in Africa for fulfilling social responsibilities. The exhibition showcased vivid examples of CCCC's contribution to facilitating Africa's path towards green and sustainable development.
On the afternoon of June 29, Chen Zhong attended in the China-Africa Infrastructure Cooperation Forum and engaged in discussions with the guests on building green infrastructure.
Chen Zhong said, CCCC consistently upholds the concept of green, low-carbon, and sustainable development in infrastructure field. The company has provided its solutions in projects such as the Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway in Kenya, the Nairobi Expressway in Kenya, and the Riverside Green Development Project in Ethiopia. CCCC is committed to accelerating green, low-carbon technological innovation, fostering emerging industries, and deepening cooperation between China and Africa with all parties.
During the forum, CCCC also signed cooperation agreements with partners from countries including the Republic of Congo, Morocco, Togo, Côte d'Ivoire, and Niger.
On the morning of June 30, Chen Zhong attended the Corporate Social Responsibility and China-Africa Cooperation Summit Dialogue. CCCC's achievements in safeguarding the rights and interests of local women and children in the Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway in Kenya and protecting the environment in the construction of the New Kipevu Oil Terminal (KOT) at the Port of Mombasa were recognized as classic cases in the campaign "A Hundred Companies in a Thousand Villages" of the Alliance of Chinese Companies in Africa for Corporate Social Responsibilities.
