Wang Tongzhou meets with Nguyen Van Thang, Minister of Transport of Vietnam

Recently, Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of China Communications Construction Group (CCCC), met with Nguyen Van Thang, Minister of Transport of Vietnam, and his delegation at the CCCC building in Beijing. The two sides held discussions and exchanges on further enhancing cooperation in areas such as transportation infrastructure.
Wang Tongzhou introduced the overall development of CCCC and its business in Vietnam. He said that as the world's leading integrated mega infrastructure service provider, CCCC provides a package of solutions for its customers in the fields of “land, sea, air and rail”. Vietnam is one of the important overseas markets for CCCC, and CCCC has been operating in Vietnam for more than 20 years and has successfully implemented many landmark projects such as the Hanoi-Haiphong Expressway, the Central Mekong Region Cao Lãnh Bridge and the Saigon International Terminal. CCCC is willing to fully leverage its advantages in the whole infrastructure industry chain and integrated services, increase the investment of high-quality resources in areas such as ports and terminals, highways and bridges, urban development, civilian airports, and clean energy in order to deepen cooperation and promote the economic and social development of both countries.
Nguyen Van Thang highly appreciated the achievements of CCCC in its globalization. He said that Vietnam is accelerating a series of large-scale infrastructure interconnectivity projects in areas such as railways, expressways, and ports. He hoped that CCCC could fully leverage its professional advantages and further strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises to achieve more practical outcomes in fields such as the construction of civilian airports, railways, and ports. Nguyen Van Thang and his delegation also visited the CCCC exhibition hall.
