Recently, the 5th Supply Chain Conference of China Communications Construction Group (CCCC) was held at GUOCE International Convention and Exhibition Center with the theme of “Safety, Resilience, Collaboration, and Win-Win Cooperation”. Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Chen Zhong, Vice General Manager of CCCC, also attended the conference. There were more than 900 participants, including leaders from various units of CCCC, industry associations, chambers of commerce and other construction central enterprises, as well as external suppliers.

Wang Tongzhou pointed out that CCCC is actively building an “innovative, collaborative, safe, green, and intelligent” supply chain management system, and continuously striving towards the goal of becoming a world-class enterprise with global competitiveness in technology, management and quality.

Wang Tongzhou stressed that the current global supply chain has transformed from pursuing speed and scale to focusing on efficiency and quality. Therefore, we should improve the quality and efficiency of supply chain management, further enhance the strategic awareness of supply chain, strengthen the core competitiveness of enterprises and develop a modern supply chain. We should promote the innovative application in the supply chain, fully apply the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and other means to the supply chain management platform, support the digital transformation of supply chain management, and effectively realize the integration, sharing and optimal allocation of resources. We should advance the synergy and integration in our supply chain, and deepen exchanges and cooperation with upstream and downstream enterprises, various industry associations, and our counterparts in central enterprises to promote complementary advantages and achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation.

At the conference, Chen Zhong gave a report on supply chain management, announced the list of excellent suppliers in 2023, and hosted the award ceremony.
