On April 17, Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, met with Carlos António Vasconcelos Mota dos Santos, Chairman of Mota-Engil in Portugal, at the CCCC Building in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on further enhancing strategic synergy for coordinated development.
Wang Tongzhou reviewed the history of cooperation between the two sides and expressed his appreciation for the excellent achievements made by Mota-Engil. He said, CCCC is moving faster to build itself into a world-class enterprise with global competitiveness in technology, management, and quality, and is committed to the transition to a globalized CCCC. It is hoped that Mota-Engil, as an important part of CCCC's international business, will give full play to its advantages, integrate into CCCC's global development strategy, increase risk awareness, optimize asset structure, strengthen market synergy, and improve development quality and efficiency, so as to achieve high-quality development for both sides.
Carlos introduced Mota-Engil's main achievements in 2022 and strategic goals in 2023, looked ahead to the opportunities for future cooperation between the two sides, put forward specific cooperation proposals, and expressed his willingness to fully support the development of CCCC.
After the exchanges, Chen Zhong, Vice General Manager of CCCC, and Carlos signed a memorandum of deepening all-around strategic synergy and cooperation on behalf of both sides. The two sides will continue to maintain good momentum for cooperation by focusing on key projects and fields.
