Recently, a signing ceremony for the resource integration of water and electricity construction between China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) and CCCC was held in Beijing. Lei Mingshan, Chairman of CTG, and Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, attended and addressed the function. Wang Haihuai, General Manager of CCCC, presided over the signing ceremony.
In his speech, Wang Tongzhou said that CCCC will give full play to the advantages of China International Water & Electric Corporation (CWE) and build CWE into a world-class contractor in water conservancy, power and clean energy engineering through full support and empowerment. CCCC and CTG will give full play to respective advantages and carry out more in-depth and pragmatic cooperation in broader areas such as clean energy construction, global hydropower plants and pumped storage, to create a new development chapter featuring mutual benefit and win-win result.
Lei Mingshan said in his speech that the two sides have carried out fruitful strategic cooperation in major project construction, protecting the Yangtze River, offshore wind power and other fields. It is hoped that we will take this professional integration as an opportunity to carry out cooperation in broader areas, at a deeper level and a wider scope, and make our development stronger, better and greater.
Zhang Dingming, CTG Executive Vice President, and Pei Minshan, Deputy General Manager of CCCC signed the agreement and a memorandum of deepening strategic cooperation on behalf of both sides. The signing is not only the new responsibility and mission of CCCC in the new era, but also marks the new era for upgrading and deepening the strategic cooperation between CCCC and CTG.
