CCCC holds CCCC Builds Dreams brand launching event and social responsibility and ESG work training

Through carrying out systematic social responsibility and ESG training, CCCC's social responsibility work saw a new step and embarked a new journey in the new era.

Recently, the CCCC Builds Dreams brand launching event, also CCCC's social responsibility and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) work training, was held in Beijing. Liu Xiang, Executive Director of CCCC attended the event and made a speech.
Liu Xiang expressed that phased achievements in the construction of the CCCC Builds Dreams brand have been presented in this event. In addition, through carrying out systematic social responsibility and ESG training, CCCC's social responsibility work saw a new step and embarked a new journey for the new era.
He stressed that all the staff members of CCCC should perform social responsibility with high standards, strengthen ESG construction, highlight the brand characteristics, and push the building of the CCCC Builds Dreams brand to a new high.
In the event, the excellent cases and logo of the CCCC Builds Dreams brand were launched. Cases including the turtle protection action at the Tema New Container Terminal Project in Ghana, cultural and tourism industries contributing to all-round rural revitalization in the Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, African foreign students support project under the Belt and Road Initiative, and the Wuliangsuhai Watershed Management Project in Inner Mongolia were elected as excellent ones.
In the construction of the Tema New Container Terminal Project in Ghana, the CCCC team set an area for turtles to lay eggs and to avoid affecting their reproduction, built a turtle breeding center, formed a turtle conservation group, and gave lectures on environmental protection, which greatly protected local turtles. So far, a total of 17,087 baby turtles have been hatched and released to natural environment.
The project team of the Wuliangsuhai Watershed Management Project in Inner Mongolia carried out protection actions, systematic restoration, and comprehensive treatment to mines, forests and grass, farmlands, wetlands, and lakewater. After treatment, the overall water quality of the Wuliangsuhai Watershed has reached V level, the area of wetlands has increased by about 66.7 square kilometers, and attracted about 6 million wild birds come to wetlands. The beautiful scenery of the Watershed, a pearl beyond the Great Wall, has reappeared.
