On December 14, the 15th China-Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Business Summit, opened in the Ecuadorian port city of Guayaquil. On behalf of CCCC, Chen Zhong, Deputy General Manager of CCCC, attended the summit via video and delivered a keynote speech.
As a representative of an engineering contracting enterprise that promotes the long-term development of economic and trade cooperation between China and Latin American countries, CCCC strives to seize development opportunities, actively propel result-oriented cooperation, strengthen collaborative innovation in the field of infrastructure, and achieve win-win cooperation and high-quality development, Chen Zhong said.
On behalf of CCCC, he put forward three proposals: first is to face up to demand, promote regional infrastructure construction, and boost economic growth; second is to save energy and reduce emissions, advance green and low-carbon development, and help improve the global environment; third it to be sincere and pragmatic, seek high-quality development and inject positive energy into global governance.
More than 60 activities including roundtable meetings of China-LAC trade promotion agencies and business associations, China-LAC business matchmaking meetings, and supporting exhibitions will be held during the summit, with a total of more than 600 online and offline participants.
