President of Ecuador attends the inauguration ceremony for the Eloy Alfaro International Airport in Manta

After completion, the project will boost the economic development of the whole coastal region in Ecuador.
Recently, the handover and inauguration ceremony of the Eloy Alfaro International Airport, built by a joint venture including CRBC, in Manta, Ecuador was held and President of Ecuador Guillermo Lasso attended the ceremony and cut the ribbon for the inauguration.
Lasso stressed in his speech that the inauguration of the airport means not only the handover of a new airport, but also the connectivity between Manta and the world.
Minister of Transportation and Public Works Herrera expressed that the airport with its advanced and complete facilities will open new domestic and international air routes, and this will strongly improve the communication and connectivity between Manta and every corner of the globe.
The project consists of terminals and the control tower, the renovation of the tarmac, the maintenance of runways, and the reconstruction of the APP center. After completion, the project will further improve the infrastructural development of Manta as the largest city in the coastal region of Ecuador, strengthen the connectivity between the city and other countries, and boost the economic development of the whole coastal region.
