Recently, Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob attended the opening ceremony of the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH) constructed by CCCC in Kuala Lumpur and delivered a speech.
Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that the opening of the project is of great significance to improve local traffic conditions, facilitate residents' life and promote local economic development.
The 20.1 km long DASH is located west of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, and consists of 13 interchanges and 3 toll stations. The project is divided in to 8 sections.
The CB3 section is the most sensitive part of the entire DASH route, which runs through commercial and residential areas. To avoid impact on the existing road for too long and inconvenience to the residents, the project department adopted the prefabricated assembly building for the first time, removing the installation and dismantling of the conventional supporting system and shortening the construction period.
The CB4 section is connected to the interchange of the arterial traffic in Kuala Lumpur, which consists of a 2-story interchange with 7 ramps above the existing 3-story highway, and finally form a 5-story 6-way interchange with 20 routes. The project department combined with the mature Chinese scheme and put forward a reasonable construction plan to ensure the safety of construction hanging basket, which was approved by the supervisor and owner.
