On July 11, the main forum of the China Maritime Forum 2022 and the launching ceremony of the China Navigation Day event were held in Dalian, a coastal city in northeast China. Wang Tongzhou, Chairman of CCCC, attended the ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.
Wang Tongzhou delivered a keynote speech entitled "aiming at intellectualization, accelerating low-carbon transformation - fully promoting high-quality development of China's shipping industry". He said that after more than 120 years of development, CCCC has become an important participant, witness and contributor to the development of China's port and dredging industries, and marine heavy machinery and modern shipping economy. CCCC will play its role in building China a strong maritime country and a leading nation in transportation, contribute to CCCC's wisdom by actively promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, and provide more CCCC solutions for the high-quality development of shipping. CCCC hopes to deepen cooperation with domestic and foreign enterprises, financial institutions and associations for mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, and create a brighter future featuring green, low-carbon and intelligent shipping together.
