Recently, the 67-km Tosontsengel-Uliastai road in Zavkhan Province of Mongolia was opened to traffic.
Recently, the 67-km Tosontsengel-Uliastai road in Zavkhan Province of Mongolia, which was constructed by CCCC, was opened to traffic. Mongolian Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai attended the event and delivered a speech.
In his speech, Oyun Erden congratulated the project on successfully passing the preliminary check. He pointed out that the 67-km Tosontsengel-Uliastai road is located at an altitude of more than 2,500 meters, the Chinese builders overcame many difficulties and well completed the project. The driving timefrom the northern region of Mongolia to Ulyasutai is shortened from 3 hours to 30 minutes.
The completion of the road will speed up transportation between Ulyasutai and major cities in the northern region of Mongolia and promote regional economic development. Thus, all roads between Ulaanbaatar and 21 provincial capitals in Mongolia have been completed.
