Zhang Xigang won the 2021 Mao Yisheng Science and Technology Award in bridge category.

Recently, Zhang Xigang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Scientist of CCCC, won the 2021 Mao Yisheng Science and Technology Award in the bridge category, becoming the first scientist of CCCC to win the award. This is an important contribution to further polish the "CCCC bridge" business card and enhance CCCC's influence in the bridge engineering industry.

The Mao Yisheng Science and Technology Award was established in 1991 by the Mao Yisheng Science and Technology Education Foundation to reward scientific and educational talents who have made outstanding achievements in related fields. The prize is awarded once every two years, with no more than two people selected each time. It is the highest level, most authoritative and most influential personal honor in China's bridge engineering industry.
