On May 7, a gathering to honor model workers & seminar on exemplary deeds of model workers of CCCC was held at CCCC’s headquarters in Beijing. Liu Xiang, Chairman of CCCC's labor union, attended and addressed the event. The meeting was hosted by Yao Yanmin, Vice Chairman of CCCC's labor union. The meeting was held both online and offline.

Liu Xiang put forward three requirements. First, to promote the spirit of model workers, the spirit of working and the spirit of craftsmanship, widely study and promote the stories of model workers, create a atmosphere of respecting and caring for model workers, guide the numerous workers to learn from model workers and strive to be model workers, and continuously gather the spiritual power of high-quality development; second, to respect the initiative of people, combine strengthening top-level design and asking advice from people, integrate reform and our features, and continuously guarantee a successful reform; third, to rely on workers, pay full attention to the needs of workers, protect the rights and interests of workers, take multiple measures to improve the quality of workers, and continuously build the foundation of sustainable high-quality development of the Company.

At the event, 53 model workers of CCCC were commended and a written proposal was read out. 6 advanced representatives, Chen Zhaohai, Du Hongchi, Yu Yu, Fu Zhaokun, Bai Hanyan and Liu Zongcheng, made speeches about themselves. The participants also watched the special film of model workers.
