Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission announced the evaluation results of national enterprise technology centers, and CCCC's 10 national enterprise technology centers successfully passed the evaluation, and 2 enterprise technology centers were rated as excellent. Among them, the technology center of CCCC Second Harbor Engineering was ranked the third among 1744 national technology centers with a high score of 96.8.
National Enterprise Technology Center is an important part of the national innovation system, an important base to carry out industry technology innovation, cultivate outstanding innovative talents, conduct scientific research and scientific and technological exchanges, and an important platform to develop key technologies, enhance technology radiation capacity and promote industry-university-research cooperation. The National Development and Reform Commission evaluates the national enterprise technology center once every two years.

Sutong Yangtze River Highway Bridge - Kilometric cable-stayed bridge building technology
The bridge has created four world records, including the largest group pile foundation, 300.4-meter-long tallest bridge tower, 577-meter-long longest cable, and 1088-meter-long largest span. It is the largest and most complex mega bridge project in in the history of Chinese bridge in the the beginning of the 21st century. The construction technology of the kilometric cable-stayed bridge developed by the technical research team (predecessor of the technology center) of the CCCC Second Harbor Engineering solved the key technical problems for the bridge construction. The bridge was awarded  the George Richardson Award by the International Bridge Conference (IBC), which is the first of its kinkd in China to win this international bridge award.
Second Hengqin Bridge in Zhuhai - A large steel truss tied-arch bridge  
 
 
The main bridge of the Second Zhuhai Hengqin Bridge is a steel truss tied-arch bridge with a span distribution of 100 m + 400 m + 100 m, the main span adopts the arch-first-beam-later method, supplemented by the sling tower system for the construction of the main arch and the main beam. The steel main girder erection technology without temporary ties was adopted to realize the fine adjustment of the node displacement at the end of the steel main girder.
China-Maldives Friendship Bridge - A bridge built on coral reefs
 
 
The project pioneered the construction of large bridges in deep sea without shelter and on coral reefs, which has provided a model for similar projects in the world and gained valuable experience.
Oujiang Beikou Bridge in Wenzhou - A steel truss suspension bridge in strong wind area
 
 
It is the world's first three-pylon four-span double-layer steel truss suspension bridge. The total weight of the bridge is about 77,000 tons, more than the weight of 7 Eiffel Towers. This project is one of the most technically difficult and complex bridges in China and the world, providing new solutions and experience for the construction of similar bridges in the future.
 
 
Baling River Bridge - A large valley-crossing suspension bridge
The Baling River Bridge is the first steel truss suspension bridge with a span of more than 1,000 meters in China and the largest valley-crossing bridge project in China. The bridge's steel truss girders are complex in design, construction and erection technology. Based on this bridge, CCCC carried out the scientific research themed on key technology and demonstration of large span tunnel anchored steel truss suspension bridge in canyons to ensure the smooth construction of the bridge and to summarize and study the experience of similar bridge projects to fill the gaps of design specifications and standards.
Shenzhen Yan'gang East Interchange - Building a bridge like building blocks
 
 
Yan'gang East Interchange is the first prefabricated bridge project in Shenzhen, which is a large hub interchange connecting five roads including Yanba Expressway, Ping Yan Pass and Long Yan Expressway. The project adopts CCCC's self-developed prefabricated bridge girder erection machine for construction. The machine has the advantages of small construction area, low requirements for ground transportation conditions, accurate and reliable operation platform and alignment system, etc. It is especially suitable for the construction of municipal bridges in areas with heavy urban traffic.
In the past 15 years, the technology center has formed more than 100 core technical achievements, broken a number of world records and filled a number of world technology gaps.
