On February 25, the China's Corporate Social Responsibility Alliance in Africa held a Chinese New Year reception in Beijing. With the vision of "making the world more smooth, making the city more livable, making the life more colorful" and the mission of building a respectable enterprise, CCCC has been actively carrying out systematic and long-term social responsibility practices around the world with the focus on implementing the "CCCC builds dreams" action. Over the years, CCCC has taken the initiative to root in Africa, and has built a large number of major millennial projects in Africa, including Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway in Kenya, the Maputo–Katembe bridge in Mozambique, and Lekki Port in Nigeria etc.. CCCC has carried out activities to promote employment and donations to schools, and contribute to helping the poor, disaster relief, and environmental protection, which received much recognition. CCCC will actively participate in the "100 Enterprises and 1,000 Villages" campaign, and promote "hard connectivity" in infrastructure and "soft connectivity" in public projects. Through a series of social responsibility practices, CCCC has contributed to the building of the China-Africa community with a shared future..
Before the Chinese New Year reception, the China's Corporate Social Responsibility Alliance in Africa also organized a seminar on "100 Enterprises and 1,000 Villages", and the Company representative made a speech at the event.
The establishment of the Alliance is an important measure of the eight major initiatives of the FOCAC Beijing Summit. The support for the "100 Enterprises and 1,000 Villages" campaign launched by the Alliance is an important part of the "nine projects" implemented by China and Africa. In the next three years, the Alliance will organize at least 100 Chinese enterprises in Africa to participate in implementing at least 1,000 people's livelihood activities or projects.
