The main work of the first section of the expansion of Keffi—Akwanga—Lafia—Makurdi Road in Nigeria was completed ten days ahead of schedule.
Recently, the main work of the first section of the expansion of Keffi—Akwanga—Lafia—Makurdi Road in Nigeria, which was constructed by CCCC, was completed ten days ahead of schedule.
The 5.4-kilometer-long section is located in the southeast of the capital Abuja and is the main road of the city. The construction is to widen the previous six-lane road to a 10-lane one, and build roadbeds, bridges, culverts, drainages, road surfaces and so on.
During the construction period, the project department has overcome such difficulties as traffic control on the busy road in the capital, relocation of the surrounding houses, and the rainy season.
The road from Kefi to Makurdi is a road of friendship between Nigeria and China. After the completion of the project, it will greatly relieve the traffic congestion between Nasarawa State and the capital Abuja, promote transportation and economic development in the region, and benefit the residents along the road.
