On June 5, the World Environment Day, project teams of CCCC worldwide carried out a series of environmental protection activities, safeguarding the Earth through concrete actions.

In Tanzania

The Tanzania project team visited Ocean Road Public Park for a beach cleanup. Young volunteers in blue vests acted as coastal cleaners, carefully collecting plastic bags, beverage bottles, and discarded fishing nets along the shoreline, bringing noticeable improvement to the beach environment.

Far from being mere manual work, the activity also served as on-site outreach to raise environmental awareness. During the event, a local resident approached the volunteers and said: "You didn't just make the beach cleaner; you also reminded people to care for the ocean. I hope more people will join you."

In Laos

At the Nam Lik 1-2 Hydropower Station, CCCC joined local communities, including villagers, teachers, students, and employees' families, for a tree-planting and fish-release activity, alongside an open day at the plant.

A total of 1,800 longan and mango trees were planted, and 60,000 fish fry were released. The participants then toured the dam and power facilities guided by engineers, gaining a better understanding of clean energy.

In Cambodia

Chinese and Cambodian staff carried out a cleanup of community gardens and roadside sidewalks around the project area. The effort significantly improved the local environment while helping to promote green development concepts among local residents.

In Chile

The Rucalhue Hydropower Station project team visited a middle school in Quilaco City to conduct a sapling adoption and planting activity, donating 50 native seedlings. The young plants helped bring students closer to nature and quietly sowed the seeds of ecological awareness and environmental protection.

In Ethiopia

The Bishoftu Airport Apron project team conducted an environmental awareness training session and planted 200 saplings around the project site. The training focused on environmental compliance in construction and key ecological protection measures, strengthening employees' ecological protection awareness.

In Benin

Coinciding with Benin's National Tree Day on June 1, the CCCC project team joined local residents in planting 300 native saplings.
