Recently, the Keffi-Makurdi expressway project team donated and installed 10 solar streetlights in the Tse-Amena Apir community in Benue State, Nigeria, improving nighttime mobility for local residents.

The streetlights cover key areas with heavy foot traffic, including the main road at the village entrance, areas around the school and the community square. Solar power is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, while offering stable operation and easy maintenance.

"Before, we could only use our phones for light when going out at night. Now that the streetlights are on, it's safer for children to walk home from school," said a local resident.

The initiative is an important part of CCCC's "Lighting Up Central Africa" public welfare campaign. Since its launch, the campaign has held seven activities, donating more than 180 solar lighting devices and bringing light to eight villages in Cameroon and Nigeria.
