In Libreville, the capital of Gabon, a 23-kilometer water transmission pipeline now carries clean water from the Ogooué River directly to households across the city.
"For years, my family and I struggled with frequent water outages," said local resident Bessaïh. "Now, we have access to clean water around the clock. As soon as we turn on the tap, clean running water flows out freely — it's worry-free and incredibly convenient."
This transformation is the result of the water supply project built by CCCC. The project covers both Libreville and Akanda. It includes constructing 93 kilometers of new pipelines, repairing water towers, building additional pumping stations, and a series of auxiliary works. Since going into operation, the project has significantly boosted the city's water supply capacity, enabling up to 20 hours of reliable water supplyper day and benefiting hundreds of thousands of residents.
Philippe Tonangoye, Minister of Universal Access to Water and Energy of Gabon, spoke highly of the project, stating that the project's key component — the largest booster pump station in Libreville — would bring a definitive end to the capital's long-standing problem of unstable water supply.
